Unicorn, Downgrade, and Upgrade cards only have active effect text when in a player’s Stable. Any Unicorn, Downgrade, and Upgrade card that is not brought directly or moved into a stable by an effect can be neigh’d, unless the cards specifically states “This card cannot be Neigh'd.”
This specifically includes the Yay Upgrade card.
- This card has no effect text that prevents it from being neigh'd.
- This card can be neigh'd when played.
- When played it has no active effect text until it is successfully placed into stable.
- “The Yay card has just been announced to play?” YES – players can neigh it.
- ”Is this just announced card to play Yay card in a stable?” NO – then it has not yet been successfully played, players can neigh it.
