Before you go off playing games, getting pressured into buying kickstarters and enjoying the company of all the wonderful people here we ask that you familiarize yourself with the community guidelines below. These guidelines provide a structure for this space, protect it, and allow it to grow in a responsible way. It also gives the mods a framework to make sure the space is doing alright day to day.

Posts not on topic within the specific group will be removed. If you keep conversations in the correct group you are more likely to get a response from other members with the shared interest.

  • Offensive Speech: Vulgar, derogatory, disrespectful speech toward users or communities is not permitted. This includes anything relating to a person's identity. We celebrate the differences between us, not use them to drive us apart.
  • Trolling, Baiting, and Harassment: Trolling is saying something to intentionally start conflict or elicit negative reactions. This kind of behavior, along with baiting and any harassment, is strongly prohibited.
  • Privacy: Please do not send unwanted private messages to members. If you are getting unwanted DM’s, please reach out to @WyvernWrath as soon as possible.
  • Offensive Content: Posting NSFW, NSFL, or straight-up illegal content is not allowed. This is a space for people to come hang out and chat about board games. Also please refrain from cursing; while it may be common for you, there are those on this server that may not wish to read/hear it (Unless it is a reference to a specific NSFW card title, only the card title is acceptable).
  • Sensitive Topics: Today’s world has plenty of drama and excitement from every angle. We welcome conversation and understand that challenging ones will happen from time to time. If the conversation starts to cause harm or infringe on any of the other community guidelines, it will be shut down. If you find the situation unconformable to be around in the chat you can reach out to a @WyvernWrath and let us know. Our goal is to provide a space where these conversations can take place without harm.
  • Spam: Do not use our community to spam, whether that is repeated posting and high frequencies, accounts just inviting you to a different server, or soliciting clicks to a link.
  • Rulesheet or card text determine the rules of gameplay as written: The interpretation of these rules can be discussed. The creation of polls on rules interpretation does not provide all accurate choices and outcomes. These polls do not reflect the actual rules and are not tolerated and will be removed. All ambiguous interpretations found by the community have been communicated to the official Teeturtle contacts and errata and gameplay intentions have been listed on wiki card and terminology pages to provide the correct gameplay.
    • When questions are asked about card effects and rulesheets, answers should either address the current situational scenario or be answered in accordance with the most recent rulesheet or specific card rulings found on the wiki.
    • Houserules should not be insulated as the correct gameplay, most people are asking for clarification on "How to play it" not "how do you play it".
  • Marketing: The discord, affiliated Reddit groups and affiliated Facebook pages have a zero-tolerance for anyone promoting or advocating counterfeit products. As a community, we support the creators of the game, and thus buying the official products, allows the creation of future releases.
  • Plagiarism All fan-made card designs (images, text effects) must be your own creation. All posts containing other people's original artwork will be removed. If violation of this rule continues the poster will be banned from all community forums.
  • Blocking Mods: These community pages are moderated by Unstable Game Experts selected by Official TeeTurtle contacts and @WyvernWrath. They are all fantastic people, quick to listen, and incredibly kind. They are responsible for posting updates, keeping channels clean, and when the time comes shutting down conversations going too far. To facilitate them in their position please do not block any of the moderators.
  • Unstable Games Wiki: This is an officially endorsed knowledge base maintained by @Shicala and @WyvernWrath ONLY. This is a community updated Wiki that does not have free access to alter the content. This way the knowledge base is verified from Official TeeTurtle contacts as accurately as possible (grammar and spelling not included.) Please contact @WyvernWrath for any possible errors of information so they can be investigated. Thank you.

The team would much rather reach out and have a conversation about something than ban anyone. We do things as transparent as we possibly can, and we know that almost all of the time things are just a misunderstanding instead of something done with malicious intent. But please hold us accountable. If you see something you don’t like, you have recommendations, or anything else please reach out to @WyvernWrath. We are always adapting, learning, and doing our best. We are people too at the end of the day, here because we enjoy this community and want to see it grow and continue to be a fantastic place to hang out and play games with friends from all over the world.
