C&C Print: Play this card when any other player tries to SACRIFICE a card. Stop that sacrifice effect and choose any player. SACRIFICE or DESTROY a card in that player's Stable.

A sacrifice effect must be in the effect chain or you cannot play the card.
Intervention stops one singular Sacrifice Effect on a card. It does not stop all Sacrifice effects that may occur simultaneously from a source.
