CS Game Terminology - Discard Pile

The Discard Pile is a pile set near the Main Deck, it is reserved for cards discarded during a Refresh, Spell cards from an eliminated player, Spells used as payment for a higher level Spell card, Spells removed from a Spell Book to make room for a new Spell, or used Resource cards.
Counterspell cards do not go in the discard pile.
