"Play" specifically refers to playing a card from your hand associated with the action during the Action Phase or playing an Instant card.

  • If you Bring a card directly into your Stable," you do not "play" that card. This means that any card that is brought directly into your Stable cannot be Neigh'd.
  • If a card in a stable is stolen it is not played into another stable, it has left one stable and entered the other. Steal is not play. This effect is not being played, you do not play effects.
  • If a card already in your stable has an effect, the card is triggered if conditions are met. This effect is not being played, you do not play effects. Triggered effects are resolved.
