Currently there are 5 cards defined as "Masquerade" cards, All cards contain the effect text;

"All of your Unicorns are considered "Masquerading". Cards that affect Unicorn cards do not affect your "Masquerader"."

There are two "concepts" that are active when a "Masquerade" card is in a Stable.

Unicorns are now a panda,cat,otter or shit, or as a combination of the five if a player is so unlucky to have multiple "Masquerade" cards in the stable.
A Unicorn card is considered a unicorn when they enter a stable, they simultaneously trigger any effects and become the panda, cat, otter, shit or reindeer (at the same time). The game winning condition requires "unicorns", You have no Unicorns (anymore).
Masquerade Cards give Continuous Immunity to Unicorn Cards.

The Immunity protects it from being targeted by effects that affect Unicorn Cards, Unicorn Cards CANNOT be chosen to be destroyed by an opponent, or sacrificed for a Requirement.
