The Nightmares Expansion introduces a new mechanic never before seen in Unstable Unicorns! If you are directed to remove a card from the game, place that card back in the box. Do not move it to the discard pile, and do not use that card for the rest of the game. If some other supernatural force removes your card from the game, you may attempt to get it back at your own risk.

  • This effect can be direct or indirect, triggered.
  • A card removed from a stable counts as "leaving your Stable", This triggers a Leave Effect. The card has not been destroyed or sacrificed it has been removed.
  • If some other supernatural force removes your card from the game, you may attempt to get it back at your own risk. This is flavor text only, a spooky supernatural thematic tagline to the effect. There is no in-game effect that can retrieve a removed card back into the game.
  • Demonicorn
  • Heeeeere's Stabby
  • Hex Neigh
  • Strange Craft Project
  • Unicorn Slasher
